Coconut Drops

Coconut drops are a traditional Jamaican treat made by boiling coconut in brown sugar and spices, then spooning the mixture onto a surface to cool. The result is a rough, irregularly shaped cake. In other contexts, coconut drops can also refer to a chewy cookie-like dessert made from egg whites, confectioner's sugar, and grated coconut. The baked drops are similar to meringue
